These are old pictures so don’t mind the mess, but I love that the bed looks black from afar but up close you can see the weathered espresso brown. Beware of the height though! I had to leave one of the top posts off in order to be able to still use the ceiling fan. I don’t mind that though. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

This is a traditional rice-carved poster bed. It features beautifully carved posts and a straight-grain mahogany headboard.

This bed is beautiful, super tall, and sturdy! The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars is because the bed comes with a distressed texture that is not specified in the listing - nor can you see from the pics provided. Love the bed, just wish it was a smooth, cohesive texture without the sanded edges and dings. Overall great purchase!. Anna. Spindale, NC. Fri Jul 24 2026

The headboard and footboard have bamboo-motif trim and bamboo posts on the ends. The wood headboard, footboard and side rails are finished in White Heron, a softer interpretation of the classic Southern limestone white with a slightly brighter sheen, delivering an heirloom-quality finish. Headboard can be used alone.

Amazing quality, beautiful finish. I was worried from other line reviews that this might read grey, but it doesn’t. It’s a beautiful comfortable white that isn’t too stark. Fits well into our home design, plays nice with other colors and design materials. And the quality it top notch. Sturdy, well made, very heavy. Couldn’t be happier with our choice.. Anonymous. Some furniture just sits in a room. The Brixton runs it. Made entirely of solid pine wood, this king bed leans into its four-poster roots — hand-turned finial posts, a gracefully arched headboard, and a scalloped footboard that reads part farmhouse, part heirloom. It's a lot of presence for one piece of furniture, in the best way. Skip the box spring — the Brixton ships with 13 solid wood slats and 3 central support legs for sturdy, ready-to-sleep support straight out of the box. Built to support up to 560 lbs, it's made for actual everyday life, not just showroom photos. The wood is FSC certified and sourced from renewable forests. Available in a rich Walnut finish or a modern matte Black, the Brixton is CARB/TSCA Title VI certified and meets California 93120 formaldehyde emission standards. Assembly takes about 60 minutes with two people.

This is a Traditional Low Post Mahogany Bed by Leighton Hall. Its design was inspired by traditional beds from the past and features hand carved and fluted posts and a radial cut crotch mahogany headboard. Dimensions: Height from floor to bottom of rails: 10.5”; Height from floor to bed support system (bottom of box springs): 11.75”

The posts elevate a low ram's head-shaped headboard over side rails fitted with a rope detail simulating rope bedding supports used during the 18th century. During the period, ropes were tightened periodically as they stretched from use. Thus, the expression "sleep tight" was born. Bunkie board in lieu of traditional boxspring is recommended. Furniture and upholstery appearances can vary and are not guaranteed due to the inherent variation of all natural materials, including wood color, wood grain, leather, and stone material and finish. Upholstered seat heights may vary up to 1” due to crown variances and foam thickness. Product matches are not guaranteed if ordered at different times.

Beautiful addition to the guest room!. Margaret. Cumberland, ME. Tue Jun 02 2026
