The box got pretty beat up in transit so I was worried it would arrive damaged, but despite that it seemed to be in pretty good condition. It is a stylish headboard and I love that it came with the bed frame - that was exactly what I wanted! Definitely does the job, although I am worried about how the wooden slats will hold up as they do feel a little flimsy… will report back if we start having problems with them. I love the bed, I have no complaints the quality is really nice. I was able to carry and assemble this without assistance so if you wanted to assemble on your own it is possible. This bed did not need a box spring, but I did add one for extra height. The pictures with the white bedding is how it looks without a box spring and the one with stripes is how the bed looks with a box spring.
