This is a nice cabinet. Very sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble. I highly recommend 2 people to assemble. Be careful it can scratch. Very spacious which is exactly what I was looking for!! My only disappointment was that my bigger plates didn’t fit in the spaces behind the glass windows. I ended up putting food on those shelves. I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but decided on 4 because the desk, overall, is nice and serves our purposes well. Mine arrived in a package that was pretty beat up, so I feared I would have a lot of chipped and broken pieces, but the pieces were so solid that I only saw a couple minor scratches and one busted drawer. I tried to get the drawer replaced and haven't succeeded yet. The first replacement I ordered never arrived, and the shipping company said the tracking number didn't exist. I finally got a second replacement ordered, and it was the drawer for the wrong side. Though they look the same and have the same part number, apparently there is a couple centimeters difference on the outer panel, so they are not interchangeable. I may just end up gluing the original drawer together instead of dealing with customer service again. Finally, as others have said, the assembly instructions were incorrect in many places, which made it take an extra long time to put together. Thankfully, all the needed hardware was there in the correct amounts, it was just a puzzle to figure out where it all actually went, because it was definitely NOT what the instructions said. I got this desk for my 5 year old son, and Im blown away by how nice it is! I had expected it to be smaller, more toddler sized, but its actually a nice size for a school-aged child, and I think hell probably be able to use it until hes at least 10 or 11. See photo of my 5 year old using it for reference. It has a built in roll for craft paper, it includes the paper, and it also has a rechargeable light that attaches magnetically to the top of the hutch. It includes a built-in cork board, which works, but note that the cork isnt super thick, so push pins dont go all the way in. It still works, though! It has 2 built in shelves, as well as a drawer and cabinet with shelf on the bottom portion. It also came with a matching chair. Assembly was fairly simple. My husband got it all put together in less than an hour, and he said it was pretty simple for flat pack assembly, no complaints. My son loves it so much.
