Fairly easy to build, I did it myself in a little over an hour. My daughter hasn’t used it yet but it seems pretty durable and I think she is going to enjoy it a lot. My only complaint is that, while I know wood grain can come with natural imperfections, I wasn’t expecting this much minor aesthetic damage, but not enough to really complain and send back (some of the white in my picture is styrofoam I haven’t gotten off yet). I can imagine up to age twelve, maybe? I'm a smaller adult and I could not squeeze my legs under the table. When folded into the bench design, it is perfect for an adult. Very comfortable. This is an excellent bench. The instructions are clear. The assembly is easy, but it would be much easier if the parts were marked with a letter or number that corresponds with the instructions, especially the two yellow bench seats.
