The bed arrived extremely fast and everything came nicely packaged. I opted to put the whole thing together myself. It’s not too difficult but a bit tedious. I think i spent at least two hours putting it together but for those who prefer they can just pay the extra for the assembly. The bed itself is very nice and sturdy. This bed was probably one of the easiest bed to build that I let my 4 yr old help with. It says you need two people, but really can be built alone. Put this bed together myself in maybe less than 20 min? The padding around the metal frame is a nice way to avoid stubbed toes. Definitely cant be used to step on since it will sink down, but not bad for small children since the bed is still close to the ground. The corduroy is super soft. The headboard did come with a small gray stain but didn't care for it since it's in a spot that can't be seen after install. Only reason for 4 star is because I thought the headboard would have a sturdy backing, turns out you'd have to basically paste and Velcro it on the wall it'll be against. I'm the type of person that constantly likes to rearrange furniture so I didn't do that since it would make it such a hassle to move it around if I wanted the bed against a different wall. It's not too bad though since it will still stay up as long as it's against the bed and wall. Overall though it's a wonderful bed frame and my daughter liked it a lot. My granddaughter is getting her own room at my house and we wanted to get a bed that would grow with her, but also be nice and cozy for her. We have designed a space that is very cute and this fit right in. The bed frame is very sturdy, easy instructions for assembly and is very soft to the touch. The pillows that attach by velcro are very soft and not too full. I am hopeful that it will be easy to clean with a vacuum and spot cleaning as necessary. We bought this bed for our daughter’s small bedroom and it ended up being a great choice. The white upholstery makes the room feel brighter and more open, which was really important given the limited space. The bed looks clean and well-finished once assembled. The storage drawers are on wheels rather than tracks, but they slide smoothly and sit flush when pushed in — they don’t look awkward or cheap at all. Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side.
