Set is very solid (I am 200 lbs and had no problems climbing in and on it to build) and the directions were great. The bags of screws are not identified very well. However, the instruction booklet uses actual size for screws and bolts so I was able to lay the screws and bolts right on the booklet to ensure I was using the correct ones. the boards were all pre-drilled, making it very nice for ensuring you have the correct boards and avoid splitting. I found one error for board orientation in the booklet, but it was quite noticeable and easily corrected. Project took me a full saturday and sunday with only myself (I had a helper to move the main tower into position). I took my time to ensure all was done well. The child LOVES it!!. Benton. It went together pretty easily but it takes awhile. I want to say it took me about 12 hours to get it completely together. The instructions are easy to understand but some of the bolt sizes it says to use are not correct. There are a lot of 2-14” bolts and a lot of 2-12” bolts. However it tells you to use the 2-14” bolts in almost everything and you run out by the time you actually need the 2-14” bolts. I ended up going back and installing the longer 2-12” bolts in a lot of places where there is thicker lumber and called for the 2-14” bolts to be able to have enough 2-14” bolts to use where they were actually needed. Also I flipped the swing and slide so I could have the play set oriented the way I wanted in my yard. The directions don’t explain how to do that but it’s easy enough to figure out. If you have a heat gun use it to assemble the slide it’s super helpful. The whole thing is a bit smaller than I expected. It’s perfect for my daughter who just turned four but I was hoping this would be something she could use until she was maybe 8-10. I’m worried she will grow out of this sooner than I had hoped. let me put it to you this way, fantastic. Bought this for my two granddaughters and they simply went nuts over it. Swinging, climbing, sliding, gliding and just enjoying themselves to the nines. Especially in these troubling times and not knowing where is safe to go or what regulations or rules they have, this swing set in the backyard is truly a God send. And if proper care is taken, I do believe that it will be around for my great grandchildren. Now as to the the Go Configure folks that built it for me, they are worth every penny they charged. Would have taken me and my friends at least two days to have built this but these guys were pros at it. They were prompt, very professional and did excellent work. I absolutely LOVE this swingset! I would highly recommend it. Quality is incredible and it looks beautiful. This comes in 3 large boxes of parts and a slide. It’s a great idea to lay out all of the wood parts organized by letter and I would also encourage you to lay out all of the hardware by number otherwise you end up looking for parts for quite a while. There are tons of pieces but it goes together really well. I used the Bilt app which is also amazing for when the steps aren’t very clear on the paper directions (you can also use the app to look at a 3D model of any step from any angle which is very helpful). I would also recommend having 2 drills or at least an extra drill battery. I worked on this project for about 16 hours total with help from my dad and husband when extra hands were needed.. Lia. Love this swing set and so does my daughter. It did take a while to put together. After our current playhouse started showing signs of pretty bad rot, my wife and I decided it was time for something new. I assembled this and my kids have been playing in the new playhouse non-stop since. I received the product and it arrived in perfect shape and was a smooth delivery process. I started the process of inventorying parts and sealing the wood prior to assembly. This step was worth the effort to ensure longevity of the product but also to organize the parts and make the build process simple. It felt like a daunting number of steps but the instruction manual in conjunction with the app made it a relatively painless process overall. This is a large playhouse so it still took several hours to build but boards were cut and prepped which make it pretty simple to put together, you just work your way through the steps. The most time consuming part was the slide, it is a lot of bolts and parts, but when its built its very solid so felt it was worth it overall. When my kids got home after i finished assembly they went crazy for all the new features of the playset with their favorites being the web swing, the tube slide, and the rock wall. I am very happy to have this up and love the way it looks and how solid it feels even as an adult up on the deck playing with my kids. First off my grandsons 3, 6 and 7 love this swing set. It is very sturdy. THAT BEING SAID we opted to put the set together instead of professional installation - WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The set was delivered via truckline and sent on a pallet (took about 3 weeks to receive). There were quiet a few boxes. First off the boards were not in a "specific" box (for example the tower boards mixed with swing boards. etc) SOME of the boards (not all) had the item # on them. The hardware - well we had probably 5 bags in different boxes with 5/8 washer. and there are A LOT of screws and nails, etc. You are going to get duplicate of a lot of the hardware. The directions were NOT GOOD AND ALL OVER THE PLACEI .It listed all the hardware and all the boards with extra boards that are not even for this set and not all the boards have holes drilled! They send 2 different drill bits but we had to purchase a paddle drill bit too. It took my husband and daughter from May 24th until June 9th to complete (doing a little everyday but was many rainy days hampering everything. ). If you chose to take on this task my opinion open all boxes and sort boards that are alike together. I also took ziplock bags and put all the hardware that was the same together because so many screws and nails were the same. If it is in the budget HIRE A PROFESSIONAL! Good luck and enjoy!!!!.
