We love this -- it took my husband three days to put together as it's very detailed and sturdy. This is very small and only will work for ages 2-8 I think. My kids love it so far. It went together pretty easily but it takes awhile. I want to say it took me about 12 hours to get it completely together. The instructions are easy to understand but some of the bolt sizes it says to use are not correct. There are a lot of 2-14” bolts and a lot of 2-12” bolts. However it tells you to use the 2-14” bolts in almost everything and you run out by the time you actually need the 2-14” bolts. I ended up going back and installing the longer 2-12” bolts in a lot of places where there is thicker lumber and called for the 2-14” bolts to be able to have enough 2-14” bolts to use where they were actually needed. Also I flipped the swing and slide so I could have the play set oriented the way I wanted in my yard. The directions don’t explain how to do that but it’s easy enough to figure out. If you have a heat gun use it to assemble the slide it’s super helpful. The whole thing is a bit smaller than I expected. It’s perfect for my daughter who just turned four but I was hoping this would be something she could use until she was maybe 8-10. I’m worried she will grow out of this sooner than I had hoped. The playhouse was pretty simple to put together. We opted for a wood house in hopes to keep the temperature lower in summer months. I absolutely LOVE this swingset! I would highly recommend it. Quality is incredible and it looks beautiful. This comes in 3 large boxes of parts and a slide. It’s a great idea to lay out all of the wood parts organized by letter and I would also encourage you to lay out all of the hardware by number otherwise you end up looking for parts for quite a while. There are tons of pieces but it goes together really well. I used the Bilt app which is also amazing for when the steps aren’t very clear on the paper directions (you can also use the app to look at a 3D model of any step from any angle which is very helpful). I would also recommend having 2 drills or at least an extra drill battery. I worked on this project for about 16 hours total with help from my dad and husband when extra hands were needed.. Lia. I am giving this five stars but read more for a very honest review. First off, this is a great product for the price. I compared so many playhouses trying to find something large enough for my big 4-year-old, and open enough to not get stuffy in our very humid hot summer climate, but at a lower price point because kids are expensive! This checks all of those boxes. I only found a couple others that were as tall, and none with the overall square footage at such a low cost. It took me—a single mom stopping for many snack breaks and with occasional “helpers” and then a couple of “squatters”mid build, a total of 5 hours to build. Please note you get what you paid for. I did have to drill a couple holes they missed in the pre-drill, and a few things did not line up perfectly. Some of the hardwareattachment systems were laughable, but I trudged through and in the end it appears sturdy enough. The fence is completely worthless unless you use your own hardware, but with the tiny screws for it, my little 1-year-old daughter pulled it both off the house, and apart two minutes after I built it. But who needs the little fence anyway! It was the least necessary part! You will need a drill for missing holes and to make construction fast and manageable. It does not come with any wrenches etc. in the kit. Overall it is so cute, and we are very pleased. I would absolutely purchase it again. Now to get back to my plastic hot dogs, but not until I wash my hand in the sink (also the toys that come along are silly and will likely frustrate your small humans like they have mine) but we are keeping it together and having fun!. The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I have not painted the building yet as too hot in NC but will later. It will serve as my new camping site! My neighbor Keith also constructed a deck for the she shed as well. So far I am pretty happy with it. It came 1 week quicker than expected. It comes in 2 very long and heavy boxes and 1 slide. I highly recommend laying out and organizing all the parts ahead of time to save time. I built the steps and rock wall in 1 hour and I am having a friend come to help with the fort.i anticipate this part may take 5 or 6 hours max.
