(Update) After 5-6 weeks of owning, the back piece on the chaise side broke and now can't be leaned on/doesn't line up with the rest. This happened when leaning back, very gentle/normal use; did not exceed weight capacity. I wasn’t 100 sure when ordering that this was the sofa for us, but in person it has met every requirement! I hope writing this review helps someone else who may be on the fence. The color is beautiful and neutral, and the material feels high end. The extendable backs are cool. During the day we keep it smaller because I prefer the look, but for lounging or movie watching we push them back, it’s easy to do, feel sturdy, and the mechanism works seamlessly. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! Stylish, Easy to Assemble, But Very Low to the Ground. This loveseat has a clean, modern design and was very easy to put together. Assembly took about 20 minutes, and the cushions arrived compressed, so they needed a little time to fully expand. The included clips let you connect the sections together or leave them separate if you prefer. I separated everything, cushions, ottoman base etc, before starting assembly. The fabric has a slightly coarser texture, but it's still soft to the touch and feels durable. The seat cushions are very firm, offering plenty of support instead of a sink-in feel. The back cushions are not attached—they simply rest against the back of the frame. They stay in place while you're sitting, but when you get up, they can tip or fall over since there's no Velcro or attachment system holding them in place. One feature I really like is the ottoman with hidden storage. It's a great place to keep blankets tucked away but still within easy reach, which helps keep the room looking neat without sacrificing convenience. My four-month-old kittens have already claimed it as one of their favorite places to lounge, climb, and nap, and it's holding up very well to their daily adventures. The reason I'm giving it four stars is because it sits much lower to the ground than I expected. I'm impressed with the quality, the sturdy construction, the storage, and how easy it was to assemble.
