Great and beautiful product, but this type of wood is a softwood. It can be easily chipped or damaged. I still love it just maybe not pet or kid safe. I have two other purchase with this live and other line from Lexington that are amazing, but they get damaged very easily. It wouldn’t stop me from ordering again, but I don’t have pets or kids…. Directions show putting the seat on with the curve in the front but the design of the chair really dictates it go in the back. Otherwise hardwood and solid chairs.
