This bed frame looked awesome in the photos. When it arrived, however, the delivery carrier (whether it was FedEx or UPS) had really banged it up. The box was totally ripped and torn (along with another non-Wayfair package I received that day), and the product had some minor dents, though nothing super noticeable. The main problem was that it was missing Part B. I reached out to customer service to get a replacement part, but they told me they dont send individual parts. They wanted me to repackage this extremely heavy item, take it to a UPS store, and ship it back before they would send a whole new one. I am disabled, live alone, dont have a car, and live on the third floor. Since the driver just leaves it downstairs, it took me about three hours to haul this heavy product up three flights of stairs completely by myself. Repackaging it, finding a way to transport it to UPS, and then carrying a replacement up those stairs again simply wasnt an option. After going back and forth a few times, customer service finally understood my situation and refunded the entire purchase. They gave me the option to buy a new one, which I wont be doing. I am giving this 4 stars mostly because the delivery handling was so rough, but I appreciate that customer service ultimately worked with me and issued a full refund. Im not going to throw the bed out, mostly because getting it back downstairs is such a huge hassle that Id practically have to throw it out the window. Love the look of this bed. Storage is great. It is very sturdy and the materials were better than I expected. It is tedious to put together so just grab your drill and a good dose of patience. But it did come together nicely (after about two hours and some cursing). The end result is just what we wanted. The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth.
