They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. I purchased this sofa, November 9, 2025. It is the same as it was when I first purchased it. It took my grandson an hour from unboxing to assembling it. It was so easy for him lol Make sure you prepare the slip covers before you take the plastic off the pillows, because they deflate very rapidly. That is a mistake I made, I was so anxious to see what it would look like put together. It is a beautiful couch and it has held up from the tiny hands and feet of my great grandkids. If you want a beautiful, strong sofa, you can’t go wrong by purchasing this one. The only regret I have is that I purchased the cream and not the white. This is my first "adult" couch and it's perfect! Delivery was relatively easy. They brought it into my apartment building and up the elevator. They were having trouble getting it out of the elevator and into my apartment and I was very grateful not to have to do it myself. The automatic call was very accurate and the men arrived 25 minutes after it (they said within 30 minutes). The men were a little hard-handed with the couch and I thought they may damage it but it proved very sturdy. It comes fully assembled so all I had to do was attach the legs. You definitely need 2 people to do this (just to set the couch on it's side carefully and then lift it up again). The couch is a bit still but will break in. The dark color is TRUE BLACK, just like other reviews said. It looks like it could be grey in the pictures but it is 100% black. It will be hard to keep white lint off of it but will hide any mishaps with food or drink. The bottom pillows can come off and are kept in place with velcro. The back pillows are attached. The legs are solid wood and are dark brown. The couch is long enough to fit someone of 6 feet without having to scrunch. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the couch for the price. Wayfair is also great with customer service. I had read in another review that the couch had been deeply discounted after they ordered and they were able to get money back. I kept my eye on the listing every day after order and sure enough, it went down $11. I waited out for more but eventually called to see if I could get the difference. I was extremely nervous and felt like I was being silly asking for it but the woman didn't ask any questions and immediately said that they will respect any price changes in your favor up to 7 days after delivery.. The sofa itself is really nice. It's a perfect light beige color. Fabric is nice. It's really stiff, which I personally prefer.. I assume it will break in too though. The main thing I wanted to come here and say is that "white glove" or "full service" delivery is such a waste of money. It was free this time, so I went with it, but I said to my wife, it'll probably come damaged.. because what they do is assemble it at a local warehouse and load it wrapped in a blanket on the truck like movers would. Sure enough, it came damaged, smashed in on one side. Also the "movers" had the white cushions stacked in the middle of the street barely teetering on a blanket... any decent breeze or car driving by and they'd have been filthy. Wayfair is sending a new one so that's fine, but for the hassle, I'd rather have it delivered in the box.. this one is literally the main base, 4 cushions and then 4 feet.. anyone could assemble it. Update: Wayfair sent a new one, this time had dirty stains all along the front of the cushion like it was dropped on the warehouse floor.
