This is a nice loft bed set and while slightly more expensive than other sets it is worth the money. This set has the best layout in my opinion for under the bed and that alone is worth the extra cost. It took me about 3.5 hours to fully assemble by myself moving at a relaxed pace. The parts and instructions are labeled fairly well with one extra of each screw. I have not anchored it to the wall yet but it is very sturdy even being on carpet. This was a big pain to install! Took about 7-8 hours with about 3 of us (we had 2 kids help us so we count them as half each because they were in and out with their "help" lol). Between making sure the bars didnt turn on you and only tightening at 70% but at the end having to find all 100 of the screws to tightening them.... it was a lot. Also I know the sides come with a warning, but please please remember the low ceilings when you have the bed frame up. Adults hits their heads 3 times each before we got the memo. Ouch! However, when all was said and done, my daughter was very happy. The bed edge makes me nervous for sleep purposes, but going to look into possibly a thinner mattress. Maybe even a bed rail of sorts. The bottom loft is very roomy. Has a lot of table space and even the drawers have a lot of room to them. I didn't realize they were cloth drawers, but they are nice and fit a lot. Overall my son loves it and this is what he’s been wanting for a couple months now. There were a little bit of confusion on the beginning steps only because you have to really pay attention to the whole positions. After you get past that part, it’s really easy. I put this together by myself, but one person or two would be better because sometimes you need help lifting something. Bought two of these loft twin beds for our girls who share a room. Overall pleased with the beds. A few of the wood pieces were already damaged/splintered in some places, but it didn’t affect the sturdiness. It seems a little wobbly, but I think if you add extra cross bars to the back and sides for support it will feel more secure. I put it together for my grandson, he absolutely adores it underneath the bed. You can see a little fort he takes his truck in cars and sometimes he even naps underneath. And on the front side of the bed is a nice desk. where he does his homework.. however the lights to come with it do not circumference around the whole bottom of the bed.
