I didnt open the box yet bc waiting for construction crew to finish up. Im hoping its ok and not damaged in the box. Well the corner flake board was a bit crunched, no big deal. I put it together myself. It was a bear until I tossed the directions after step one and put the non-restrainable locking top on bottom and turned it on the side to finish. Speaking of non locking top, who ever thought this was a good idea Put a latch on the table top to avoid smashed fingers and moving it for pre build safely. I Suggest bungie it to stabilize. This table is cute. However, when I unboxed it, it already had a scratch across the top. The other issue was even though its all screwed in all the way the hydraulics seem to have issues. When opening you have to pull relatively hard as well as be careful when you close it because it drops hard. The hydraulic is also very wobbly and i cant figure out why. Very pretty coffee table, it’s the perfect size out of the storage inside and that it lifts up. You do need two people to put this together. This took me about three hours, and I still did it wrong because although the instructions are clear, they’re not that clear because I put the wooden pieces inside backwards so I couldn’t put the lift on so I had to take the top part apart.
