The Hamilton Beach® Extra-Wide-Slot 2 Slice Toaster has wider slots that easily fit thicker bread and bagels, as well as upgraded features that you won't find on every toaster. The bagel function perfectly toasts the cut side of bagels and warms the rounded side, giving your bagels just the right combination of crunch and warm, soft bread. Toast Boost gives small breads like English muffins and gluten-free slices a lift so they're easier to remove from the toaster. Toast your bread as brown as you like it with 7 toast shades. Just turn the shade selector to make lighter or darker toast. Cleanup is easy too. The toaster has a drop-down crumb tray that catches crumbs to keep them off your countertop. Toast a variety of breads with ease using extra-wide slots and adjustable browning control with the Haden Bedford 2 Slice Toaster in Putty Speckle. Bagel, defrost, and cancel functions add convenience, while the removable crumb tray makes cleaning simple.

I had an older brand name toaster for more than a decade. It worked fine, but when I saw this beautiful toaster, I just had to have it. It’s really like a piece of jewelry for your kitchen. Before I got it, I looked at other Haden toasters and really loved the look of this gold/cream one the best, which apparently is exclusive to Wayfair. When I pulled it out of the box I was slightly surprised that it didn’t seem to weigh as much as my old toaster. If it had been any lighter, it might’ve felt flimsy but it wasn’t. One thing that perplexed me is the bottom, which seems to have hooks for the electrical cord, but it doesn’t wrap around them properly. Still a mystery. I absolutely love the look of it on my countertop. Beware that the first time you use it, it will off-gas. My English muffins were fully toasted when the dial—which has a nice soft, smooth click—was set at “3”. The “Cancel” button has a bright white light that is illuminated when you push down the handle, which feels smooth going down. This was a definite upgrade from my old toaster, and I’m happy I got it.. Susannah. San Francisco, CA. Sun Oct 04 2026
