The couch was perfect for our space. It was a little smaller than expected, but still big enough for 2 of us. I love the fact that I can choose which side I want the arm rest on, as well, as recline the backrest for better lounging. I think the only thing I didn’t like about this couch is that the drawers looked like they should hold blankets and such, but are really only half deep, so couldn’t even fit our small throw pillows. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area.
