Fairly easy to build. Comes in 3 heavy boxes. It came fairly quickly. All the pieces were packed with care. Screws are already pre screwed for everything but the slats so you just have to take the out and screw them back in with the pieces put together. The 6 screws that come in the little plastic bag with the instruction manual are for the wooden slats and were hard to get it using a regular screwdriver and hand power. Luckily we had an electric screwdriver on hand and used that. Two of the slats has cracks in them. I said whatever because this is not going to be a frequently used bed. The trim on the headboard looks a little too glam for my tastes. It’s 3 rows of fake gems taped on. I plan to cover that up using led strips. All in all, I’d buy this again.. Madhavi. I cannot give this enough stars - such an easy assembly although two people recommended for ease. It IS a heavy delivery box (we had to unload the box and haul piece by piece up a spiral staircase to get it to the room) but when all put together it is so sturdy, no noise, beautifully simple piece..
