working to get my toddler son’s room converted with a big boy bed. Got this one so we won’t have to worry about him rolling out. The directions recommend 2 adults to put it together but I was able to do it solo in a couple hours. I didn’t put in the door because that’s where he get in and out but it does have a feature with a lock that goes where the opening in the frame is. I have been very impressed with this Montessori floor bed. It is made of strong, sturdy wood, was relatively easy to construct, and has been a massive hit with my toddler. I love that it has installed bookshelves that can be used as he gets bigger. The mattress fits perfectly and allows him to climb in and out without needing assistance. The only thing that is slightly difficult is it making this bed can be hard. However, I think that any floor bed would be just as difficult. Overall, I would definitely recommend this purchase..
