This is a very sturdy, solid bookcase and fits perfectly in the small entryway to our coastal bedroom. I rated it a 4 because one of the cane panels wasn't stretched tight enough compared to the others so there was a slight bulge. Otherwise, it would have been a 5. I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. I dislike, putting wood screw holes in the base. They should of designed it where instead of using wood screws, you could use machine screws to take it apart without damaging the wood.. William.
