Wayfair tint review Omg, okay, if I can do this, almost ANYONE can do this! This was window tint stuff was necessary because I live by the beach with south-facing sliding doors that had no blinds when I moved in a few months ago. I ordered it in May 2026. It’s mid-April now and the sun is getting hotter with every passing day. So, I decided today that I need to just bite the bullet and try to do this myself. I hadn’t done it yet because I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews… [Btw, I’m 46 F, single, my dad just passed away (he was great did all the handyman stuff whenever I needed anything) and I do have a brother but he lives 1.5 hours away.] Well, I used a baby shampoo from the Dollar Tree Store to clean the sliders a few days ago. Oh, and I used that brown paper that comes as “filling” in delivery boxes instead of paper towels to clean. Anyway, it only took about 4-5 minutes to cover the first slider door I did! I still can’t believe it! It took about 45 minutes to do the stationary window slider, however. The roll was too wide to fit right up against the window pane so I had to figure out how to cut the roll down to size. I seriously wish i had a little saw because that would have made it soooo much faster easier. Once the roll was narrow enough to put up against the window, it only took about another 5 minutes until it was finished! (I accidentally trimmed off some of the weather stripping, though, so be careful.) And now I’m leaving this review while I’m ordering another roll for my other south facing windows!. Kristen. We got this to set up for spring and summer in the north west. We were told that summers are short but can be very sunny and heat up our home quite a lot. This film belongs to the darkest color series. It offers excellent privacy protection during the day. It can effectively prevent outsiders from peeping into the room, while also ensuring clear indoor vision during the day. At night, if the room is lit, it might be possible for people outside to see the inside, but it is much less easy than through a transparent window.

This stuff is great! Super easy to cut and apply. The thing I like the most is the fact that it's not permanent. You apply using soapy water. It clings to the window perfectly and literally just peels off when you want to remove it. I bought it to put in the window I have a bird feeder on so my cat Ziggy can stalk through the window without scaring the birds. I'll update with pics of him when I can get some!. Anonymous.
