We rec’d our tub but haven’t installed it yet so review is based on size and appearance. A round tub is unique and the size seems perfect. I originally ordered a 51 inch which was too big then got a 45 that was too small. The 49 inch doesn’t sound much smaller compared to the 51 inch but it made a huge difference in our space. Can extend my legs which I couldn’t do with the 45 inch. The tub seems sturdy. It’s a matte white so if you want one that’s a bright shiny white this isn’t the tub for you. One drawback is the material seems like it could easily show marks so be careful moving it around. Had to hire movers to get it upstairs (it’s heavy!) and the tub rubbed against the shipping crate when they were getting it out. Sure enough there was scrape on tub where it hit the crate. Beautiful and functional ! This bathtub is so smooth and retains heat so well. The seat on the inside is perfect for tub seating ergonomics and is just tall enough. If all you need is to do a pedicure scrub, its just deep enough at the feet that you have the option only to soak your feet in the bottom and not get wet elsewhere. And believe it or not, it is super fast draining which i totally didnt expect. Im 59, and Im OK with my legs being bent when soaking. In fact, I find it more comfortable than straight out. Even so, you can see that the overflow is above my knees and an inch or so above my armpits. This is a heavenly soaking depth. I like having the stool (purchased separately) to get inout and if you have short legs (I dont), ***you will need one*** to get in and out of this tub. This tub was the most well packaged item I have ever received having come in a huge, well-padded wooden crate. It requires several professionals to be moved and installed. It is super heavy.
