These beds work well for guests in my extra bedroom. One of the slats broke the second time it was used but Wayfair sent a new set of slats and it has held up so far. Some of the slats are joined rather than single pieces of wood which can create a weak spot. It looks nice as a daybed.. Julie. Portland, OR. Fri Sep 25 2026

Very happy with this purchase! The bed is sturdy and looks great. One helpful thing to know make sure to purchase an 8-inch mattress for the bottom trundle. The listing doesn’t specify a mattress thickness, and anything thicker than 8 inches will prevent the trundle from sliding underneath the bed properly. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to figure out what size mattress to order!. Shauna Monae. Ventura, CA. Tue Sep 22 2026

I absolutely love this sofa bed! It’s incredibly comfortable, and the corduroy fabric feels so soft and cozy. The color is a little darker than in the product photos, but it’s absolutely beautiful in person! One thing to keep in mind is to check the dimensions carefully before purchasing. It sits quite low to the ground compared to a traditional sofa bed, but that’s part of its relaxed, cozy style. Overall, I’m so happy with this purchase! Practical but Not Very Comfortable This foldable bed is very practical and convenient, especially when you need an extra sleeping space or a temporary bed. It is easy to fold and store. However, it is not very comfortable for extended use because, after a while, you can feel the metal frame through the mattress. It works well for occasional use, but I wouldn’t recommend it for long periods of sleeping.. Betty. Sat Oct 10 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

Hello Im totally in love wth the simplicity of this platform bed frame It is well made and made of solid wood. The color is beautiful I wanted something simple but makes a statement The joinery makes it easy to put together and it totally carries itself with no headboard to take away from the Beautiful wood. It was a bit on the heavy side since it is SOLID WOOD ... but each piece is very straight-forward as to where its suppose to go... after all it just has 4 sides ) I put it together by myself it was a bit of a balancing act... lol ... I had read in reviews that people were complaining that you need two to put it together...you can just lean one of the long sides onto a wall then slide in the two shorter sides and then you slide the two other ends of the short side ... WELLA YOUR BED IS MADE Soo0oo... NO YOU DONT NEED TWO PEOPLE ... I PUT IT TOGETHER SOLO, JUST LIL OLE ME ) Mercedes from OK Change. Mercedes. OK. Sun Oct 04 2026
