Literally just finished setting this bad boy up! Wanted to write a review because I know it’s helped me make purchases in the past. The quality looks great and feels very solid! I’m very happy with the purchase so far. Will report back once the mattress is on. But am excited that I made this purchase I needed something I could set up alone and this was perfect. It took me thirty minutes mainly because there were a few hiccups with me trying to fit certain rails in upside down, but overall it was quick and stress free ! Highly recommend. Very attractive much the color is much darker than advertised. More like a dark redwood. Very low profile but it’s exactly what I was looking for so I’m happy. I paid the extra 84 to have it assembled professionally . It was definitely worth the money and took him an hour. Instructions do say you need two people but he was able to do it alone. 4 stars bc a corner of headboard came damaged. Customer service took care of it immediately and refunded me 99 bc I didn’t have time to wait for a new one. Disappointing but it’s Actually hidden by bedding. 5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. The interior is foam-padded, making it easy to prop up with a good book before going to sleep. Slats and a center leg eliminate the need for a box spring, so all that's left to get is a mattress (sold separately).
