Left the protectors on the drawers because I’m moving it this weekend to a renovated room. I love the interest the first drawers have and the color is a honey oak. Just like the picture. Love this huge heavy dresser. And white glove delivery was great. Just a few notes, who ever did assemble it was sloppy. Plastic left on hinges inside and just thrown in the back of the dresser all had to be removed and all drawers had to be reset. A little wd40 helped fix.
