So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper. Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width. Pull out the bed frame under the seat. There are two length options. When it is not fully pulled out, it becomes a chaise sofa, and when it is fully pulled out, this sofa can quickly turn into a Queen-size bed for resting. With high quality sponge,plus soft and skin-friendly corduroy ,the sofa is comfortable which is perfect to sit as well as to sleep on it. With premium quality steel tubing, double reinforcements, and stabilizing legs, the steel folding cot sturdily maintains balance with no worry of toppling over. The color is accurate but the couch is worthless. Cushions do not secure to the ottomans so they just fall off. The back of the couch is not very high and the cushions are uneven, so it just looks too low and uneven. We just got this sofa sleeper a week ago for our rental space. We were looking for something very sturdy and easy to covert with a nice thick mattress. This checks all 3 of those boxes. Honestly, the style isn’t as modern as I wanted but all the modern sofa sleepers are not made of solid wood and haven’t been as durable. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. Got this beautiful black velvet electric recliner sofa and its absolutely amazing. It took some time to assemble each seat with its own motor but not difficult. Comes with a remote control to pull out all the 3 seats to make a bed or individual for reclining. What makes it smooth to make the bed or back to a sofa is it has wheels in the front for better control.
