I am really enjoying this chair, and so is my cat, Gelato. It’s firm and gives good support without being the least bit stiff. It’s quite comfortable, both to me and Gelato. I love the teal color. The color is definitely more muted than shown in photos, but it’s not a deal breaker amount of change. Bottom cushion is well proportioned, but the back cushion could use more stuffing as it’s thin enough to feel the back support through. I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet. We will see how this holds up after more use.. Hap. Sacramento Area. Thu Apr 16 2026

I absolutely LOVE this chair. I wanted color without it being too much and this is it. It is comfortable - not too firm, not too soft and I love the wider width. Also, I hate that everything needs to be put together but this was simply attaching the legs so easy enough. I did however have to "guess" where the black plastic rings went as well as the silver rings when installing. I am assuming I got it right. Sharon. Naples, FL. Sun Aug 30 2026
