I wanted something to fit 4 large bath towels to use by the hot tub but this only fits hand towels and is probably more appropriate for spa use (eg nail salon, barber shop, etc). When I think of cost spent, this is probably one of the least necessary things. It’s nice to have if you take a shower during the time that is set on your timer but when don’t there isn’t much time to manually have it heat up. Plus for two towels to get much of the heat, it’s hard bc really only two spots for it to get any heat. It works great though and is nice looking. Favorite thing in bathroom is heated floors. We had a friend tell us to make sure we put a towel warmer in! So glad we did! The square shape matched all our Square accessories! This particular one can be hot wired or plugged in. So mine just plugs into the wall! You do have to turn it on and off. And it usually take a minute to get warm… (it doesn’t have an emergency to hot turn off in it) so we are going to look for some kind of timer maybe to leave it plugged into. But we do enjoy it!. Heres a detailed review. First off, the wrap on this is absolutely horrendous. After using it once, the white wrap started peeling off, I literally thought it was protective film so I started peeling it off. When I saw how hard it was to remove the film under screws and the top cap of the unit, I realized this was actually a wrap, and is supposed to have a white body not a stainless body. The stainless is super warped looking on the side where I peeled the wrap, instead of good quality steel. so it makes it look cheap. Ill leave the wrap on the side that clients see. It does want to tip forward naturally because of its design. Luckily I store hot stones in it, so its heavy and wont tip forward, but if you just use it for towels, be cautious opening the door. I think it needs more shelving to fit more. i retrofitted and old wire shelf from an old cabby to fit in there for additional storage. I love that it has a timer and can set the tempurature.
