Lesure Tall Sisal Cat Scratch Post with 2 interactive pom-poms and a stable plush-covered wooden base. Natural sisal twine surface for safe scratching. Wide base stays steady during active play. Helps protect furniture from claw marks. Quick assembly, no tools required.

My kitten absolutely loves this scratching post! She’s constantly climbing to the top and trying to grab the little pom-poms. It’s also tall enough for her to get a good stretch in. My 16-year-old cat, on the other hand, wants absolutely nothing to do with it. She prefers a shorter scratching post we already have, so this one might be better suited for younger, more playful cats. Assembly was pretty easy. There were only a few steps, the instructions were straightforward, and it came with all the tools needed. As far as quality goes, it’s okay. The base and other parts seem pretty durable, but I’m not sure how well the scratching material will hold up over time. It’s also a little wobbly when my kitten climbs it, which is surprising considering she only weighs about three pounds. I’m not sure how well it would hold up with a larger cat. Appearance-wise, it’s fine. The sisal has a slightly worn look to it, which I assume is intentional. It’s not necessarily something that blends in with my home decor as well as other cat furniture I’ve purchased. Overall, it’s a decent scratching post, just nothing particularly impressive in terms of quality or appearance. My kitten is certainly getting plenty of enjoyment out of it, though, and that’s why I’m giving it four stars.. Anonymous. Sun Oct 11 2026

Improve your feline's happiness levels with this PETMAKER Sisal & Burlap Cat Scratching Post. With a weighted wood base to prevent tipping, this kitty scratching column sits at the optimal height for cats and kittens to stretch their necks and backs while keeping their claws well-groomed.

Read some of the comments about the base being unstable. I mitigated this by applying some duct tape to help keep the pieces together (they are already held together as they are not completely cut in half -- the duct tape just helps secure it). No complaints thus far! It's a great height for my cat -- they can stretch out fully and reach the top. They don't hang out on the top though. A bit small for a grown cat.. Ib. Brooklyn, NY. Cactus Cat Scratching Post, Cat Scratcher with Sisal Rope and Interactive Hanging Ball, 19.9 Inch Scratching Post for Indoor Cats and Kitten

This is a cute little scratching post, but I was expecting it to be a bit larger. It is sturdy enough that I don’t believe my cat will be able to knock it over while playing or sharpening her claws. One thing I’m not crazy about is the sisal being on the bottom of the post. It is quite thin and looks like the old school yarn they would give you in an eighth grade Home Ec class. As long as it stays attached and doesn’t fray too quickly I’m OK with it. I like the texture of the cactus, (if you will), and the fact that it’s rubbery and flexible. My cat has already owned it. She walked right up and put her scent all over it. The scratching post came quickly and was delivered at my home, not in its usual place and with a few dents in the box but overall handled professionally. I would recommend this to a friend with a smaller cat as it is a decent value for a cute post that appears not to knock over easily. I had it assembled in 30 seconds lol. Leslie A. Quakertown, PA.
