I love the final look of this couch! The seat cushions are very supportive, the perfect mix of firm and soft. All of the pictured covers are removable and machine washable, except the bottom half of the back rest that is zipped. It’s a part of a piece that must be spot cleaned. Only complaint - didn’t realize the seat cushions for the back rest were packaged in the armrest. One person can assemble this in roughly 2 hours.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 09 2026

Very nice sofa for the price. Large and comfortable seating and the fabric is very nice! It took several hours to assemble with two people. This is perfect for my family room but I don’t think it’s good enough for my living room because the back side is it is a little flimsy.. Kathleen. Crown Point, IN. Fri Oct 23 2026

Came in two heavy boxes - hard to move like dead weight. I thought it was going to be a standard sofa. I was surprised to see it has a very heavy metal frame that the cushions fit over . I didn’t realize that the frame screws into the bottom cushions- it does have holes where the screws go. I literally had to take pieces apart to put the bottom and get it attached. I was wrestling with it to get it together. Directions not very clear . Color is true to picture. It is soft and comfy . It is heavy and has a contraption on bottom to connect both pieces but I couldn’t get it together. It’s not going to slide apart it too heavy to move . It does have some rough bottom areas that are just metal and not covered. Mine is on carpet I would be concerned if it was to sit on tile or wood . Overall not what I was expecting- I would put it in basement or spare area not as main furniture. Debra. Mundelein, IL. Fri Oct 23 2026

It also seats three people comfortably for gathering with friends or relaxing with family.

Nice sofa. It was tight fit to put together so follow the instructions if tge fasteners shoujd be left loosened before next piece install. I woukd personally swap i believe was tge long brace for installing next piece and return to it after next piece cones in play. Sofa is little stiff as others mentioned, but still quite comfortable. Easy to get out of due to that stiffness. The angle of the back piece coukd be less not to lean so far from the sitting position. Happy with tge price point (sale). Nice color.. Radek. Good couch for the price. Assembly instructions were unclear and times and one of the holes for the screws was blocked by some sort of metal. Also not single-person install friendly if that’s an issue for you.. Malik. Sun Jun 07 2026

This sofa-and-chaise sectional features an L-shaped design that provides you with ample room to stretch out and relax, even in space-conscious homes and apartments. It has a manufactured wood frame that rests on low-profile dowel legs for a modern look. Wrapped in a linen blend fabric, it comes in a neutral tone that matches with almost any style or color scheme. Foam-filled cushions give you plenty of support. Rounded arms, nailhead trim, and subtle tufting in the back add a traditional feel we love. A storage ottoman and two toss pillows are also included. Best of all, two built-in cup holders help keep you hydrated during movie or game night.

I had someone set it up. I live in an apartment and the couch came in two separate boxes. Be aware! I live alone so I had to enlist a random person to help me bring it to my apartment because we don’t have an elevator. Once the couch was set up it was exactly as advertised. It’s comfortable and not too low for me.. Adriene. Magnolia, NJ. Sat Oct 24 2026

This pet- and child-friendly compression sofa effortlessly combines unparalleled comfort with exceptional practicality. Zero assembly needed — simply unbox and plunge into pure relaxation. It integrates flawlessly into any setting, instantly enhancing your living space with effortless elegance and versatile charm.

I really love this couch. I need to get more pillows to make it more homie, but besides that set up was really easy and the package came really fast. My only problem is that it gets scrunched up in the middle when it’s been sat on for a while besides that it’s great.. Harlow. Austin, TX. Sun Sep 20 2026

This multifunctional sofa combines comfort, storage, and flexible layout in one. In daily use, it’s a stable, supportive centerpiece for the living room; when you need a break, a gentle pull expands it into a spacious sleeping area, instantly turning the living room into a “temporary bedroom.” The chaise can switch between left and right to adapt to different floor plans and traffic flows: read by the window, place it against a wall to free up a walkway, or pair it with a coffee table to create a cozy viewing zone. The thick cushions and pillows provide solid support for the back and waist, keeping you comfortable during long chats, work sessions, or binge-watching. Armrests with built‑in storage and side pockets keep throws, remotes, and tablets out of sight for a cleaner space. Picture this: a weekend movie night where you recline the back, pull out the bed, stretch your legs, and grab a throw from the armrest; or a friend staying over—set up the bed in seconds and, the next morning, close it back into a neat sofa—effortless and elegant.

Assembly took a few hours with 2 people. Part labels were inconsistent. Very firm - we’ll be adding a foam pad for sleep. Overall a decent spot to put occasional overnight guests.. Caitlin. MN. Sun Jun 07 2026

Im still letting the pillows breath, is big but im not a big fan of the pillows for the back, for my taste they are to low. I doesn’t feel that comfortable yet but I think with some time it would feel better. The pillows from the back needs more filling because you can feel the frame of the couch. Yeimy. Sat Aug 01 2026

I really love the look of this modular sofa as it goes really well with our decor. The assembly was very simple and the included allen wrench made the process simple. We’ve only had it a couple of days but so far it seems fairly comfortable. The cushions are soft but the base has some firmness to it so that you do not just sink into it. We also love the fact that it is modular just in case we want to add to it and really customize the look.. Anonymous. Mon Apr 27 2026

Overall the couch is nice. Actually a little bigger than I had though, in a good way. The instructions were very easy. I am not big on putting furniture together AT ALL and I was able to do it alone. The only thing I don’t like is the couch is not very steady. The arm rest feel very sensitive. Like don’t lean on them. But I only put them together today so it’s only day 1. So we shall see. Elevate your living space with the Fred Smart Storage Sofa Overall Dimensions: 86.6"W × 35"D × 35"H—where style, functionality, and space-saving design meet. Crafted for modern urban dwellers, renters, and small-family households, this striped fabric sofa combines timeless aesthetics with practical under-seat storage, making it the perfect centerpiece for apartments, studios, or cozy living rooms.

This sofa was easy to put together for my husband, although he needed me to hold the edge of one section of the sofa to help with sliding the latch in between the furniture pieces. The set looks just like the picture, so this is great. It is pretty huge and may not be the best for our space, but it will suffice for now. It took a few days for the pillows to fluff out (expand) to look puffy - so do not be discouraged when you see that it looks flat initially. I love the stripes and hope to pair it with a white fluffy rug to add some contrast from the wood floor.. Ugochi. Wake Forest, NC. Sat May 23 2026

Compact yet highly practical, this set is ideal for apartments, condos, or small living rooms where space efficiency matters, and its straightforward assembly makes setup quick and hassle-free.

It’s a great couch and value for the price. It should be against a wall it is covered with upholstery on the back, but it does not connect and there are little flaps that over lap where it connects. It’s very comfortable, it didn’t take long to assemble, and the fabric is soft. It’s not a primary couch, but it does get used almost daily. I had some shipping issues where half of it went three states past our home, and the box was in rough shape. There was a small spot, and after some back and forth, the manufacturer sent a replacement cushion. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase.. Jackie. York, PA. Wed Sep 16 2026
