We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. We spend a ton of time enjoying our patio year round and these heaters were put to the test and passed with flying colors. The heaters were easy to operate with the remote controls and they provided a surprisingly decent amount of heat for residential units. Some flaws in the design. Power cord is way too short and the manual was incredibly poorly written. Instructions to set up and use were terrible but they made sure to state that extension cords should not be used which makes this unit unusable- since their cord is way too short once placed into the stand.
