Update to review This sofa is not the sink-into kind, but has wonderful support and the reclining feature is so comfy! It reclines flat and mechanism works smoothly. The upholstery will be a breeze to clean. I did put it together by myself not as time consuming as I had guessed. It should be noted that the seat cushions come vacuum-packed and need to “puff up” for 2-3 days. They look great now. Also, the cushions attach with a heavy duty zipper— it is difficult to get started and there was one that simply would not zipper. I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars after using it! Original review This sofa is going to be incredibly time consuming to put together. The upholstery seems pretty thick and hopefully durable. I just can’t believe the number of pieces involved. I bought this chair for my 91 year-old mother, whose old recliner had worn out. It was easy to put together and fits really nicely in a smaller space. Overall for the price it is a well made chair. Some of the issues I have with it probably would have been avoided if there was an instruction book on how to use the features. I don’t know how to reduce the intensity, or where the heat is. The rollers are fixed and very strong. One it is made for people taller that 5’3” but I can deal with it. It was fairly easy to assemble but pretty heavy (brought into house and assembled by 60year old woman). Instructions only show 2 cords coming from chair. But this chair has 3 cords and no place to plug it into. I’m assuming that wire/cord controls headrest because the headrest doesn’t work/move.
