I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. My dog is 15 pounds and can’t get out of it, so that is the best part. Perhaps my Dad’s caregiver will figure out how to open and close it. This gate is perfect for keeping my cat in a room. The slats are close enough together that he can’t squeeze through and it’s tall enough that he hasn’t tried to jump over it yet. It’s very easy to open and close to walk through, and it’s attractive. One of the expander slats came with the plastic loop thing at the end broken off.
