I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in. I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home.
