In our house, we’ve been through about a dozen different office chairs (thanks to working from home and teenagers who sit in theirs for both homework and gaming). We’ve tried a number of different brands of office and gaming chairs at different price points. And unfortunately, we were disappointed in this chair for the price. The chair looked nice, had a comfortable but breathable mesh seat, and claimed to have all the features we tend to look for: adjustable seat height, arm height, headrest, and lumbar support. The foot rest looked like a nice bonus. But once we put the chair together, we found we could not make the seat height or lumbar support adjust. It isn’t clear whether the hydraulic switches were malfunctioning, but if so, the manufacturer may be able to provide support or a replacement and fix the issue. The headrest only moved a small amount to adjust it, and this was not controlled by the same switches. It was also very tough to move up and down to the right height. The footrest was also difficult to pull out to use. The star-shaped base was plastic and came with some scuffs on it. I loved that the chair came with a good assembly manual. The chair arrived as scheduled, was easy to assemble. To be fair I've done probably 50 different chairs due to working in Hotels. The chair looks great and is fairly comfortable. There are a few things to note and consider that are not deficiencies. It is a large chair, and heavy duty. Because of this the lowest height is my standard setting, at this height, the arms will not go under my desk which has a drawer...probably 2" too high. It does not have any lumbar adjustment, no problem, just a note and for those wondering how thick the PU leather is, the answer is not very. If you have cats and they are allowed near this chair, di not expect it to remain nice. I had a claw mark the first day and covered it with a blanket...that helps but does not stop it. Lastly, the foot rest is ok, I don't love the style/design but it's functional. Also. How flat does it lay, it is not flat but it is a decent recline that one could nap in. I’ve been using this office chair for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The quality is excellent, and the seat is incredibly comfortable, even for long hours of work. One unique feature I really appreciate is the coat hanger on the back of the headrest—it’s a thoughtful touch you don’t see often. The adjustable armrests are also a great feature, as they can be easily raised or lowered to fit different desk heights or personal preferences. However, there are a couple of downsides that keep this from being a perfect 5-star product. The chair rolls *very* easily on tile, making it almost too sensitive to movement. I’ve had to get a mat to keep it in place. Additionally, the assembly process was time-consuming—it came in a lot of pieces, and putting it together took longer than expected. That said, once it’s set up, it’s a solid, comfortable chair with some nice extra features.
