I was right there to help FedEx unload them from the truck. All of the boxes looked like they were tossed down a flight of stairs before we even unloaded them. They are very heavy. I was not happy about damage on all 4 of my brand new tables, but trying to return these heavy tables would have been a pain. The table is perfect for my purposes and was fairly easy to put together with two people. The drawers come preinstalled to the table top, which is nice, but you would think they would be space properly. They’re don’t slide as well as I would like them too. In most respects, the bench is just what I needed. The one negative issue is that the whole assembly flexes from side-to-side. I fixed this by bolting a cross member between the ends to keep them evenly spaced top-to-bottom. Then I added a stiff diagonal brace to prevent racking.
