I searched for the internet for several fans this color and size. I finally landed on this Hunter one. I loved everything about it. My husband installed it without any trouble. We absolutely love it. The light is the perfect color, not too yellow and not too white-like most LED lights can be. The only downside would be the remote. It only has up and down arrows and the remote does not have a holder for the wall. We tend to loose remotes easily in our household so that is a negative point for us. This is an absolutely gorgeous ceiling fan. The walnut blades are polished and have a timeless look, and it makes an absolutely gorgeous statement piece in the middle of the living room. Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied.
