This is an elegant, beautiful piece. My only peeve is that it is made of composite wood except for the 5 legs. The description is misleading. That said, I put it together by myself in 6 hours which includes opening the box in my house to pushing the completely built dresser into place. It’s sturdy and the instructions were easy to follow.. Nice solid piece, very sturdy. Would definitely recommend. not sure if you can see, but they just as a glass piece with a center hole on the top versus the two holes needed to attach the glass to the bracket. It was also missing a hole where needed to attach one of the shelving.. the first picture with a circle show you the hole in the center and the brackets that have no holes to attach the bolts. The second picture shows you what it should look like cause I bought two.. very disappointed had to keep because of the issues that related to the delay of delivery. The hardware used for the drawer slides does not allow the drawers to glide smoothly, which seems to be the main cause of the issue. Also — this thing is an absolute BEAST to assemble. I would recommend trying to get white glove delivery or be ok with it coming slightly damaged. A lot of reviews also noted the legs were bent and I had the same issue. The dresser feels fairly study once assembled, with the exception of the drawers being a bit loose when pulled out. The color looks very nice in person and it appears to be higher quality than it actually is. One complaint we have is that the curved doors on either side and very difficult to slide open and require you to use one hand on the handle and one hand gripping the slats around the backside of the dresser to really open and close them. I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. It is a very nice dresser, considering the price. It took me about three hours to assemble it. The natural wood color and the grille design are what I like most about it. What I didnt like is that the legs are a completely different shade of gold than the handles furthermore, the top surface and the gold trim are made of pressed sawdust and plastic, things to consider if you are expecting higher quality.
