Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. We put this bed in one of our bedroom's a couple weeks ago and I keep forgetting it's not something we've had forever — it just fits. The headboard is the first thing you notice. It's a wingback shape, upholstered in this linen-blend fabric that actually feels good to lean against, not stiff or cheap like some upholstered pieces can be. I didn't expect to care this much about a headboard, but now it's basically why the room feels finished. Assembly was really straight-forward — two of us got it done, everything we needed was in the box, and instructions were simple and easy to follow. The slat system holds everything up on its own, so once it was together, that was it — no extra piece to buy or figure out. A couple weeks in, it's holding up exactly like I'd hoped. I love this bed and everything about it. I have yet to use the under the bed storage by. It is a really nice bed with a wide and short head frame to where I can put more decor around or above. The only thing I did not care for was the assembly of the base frame. I started to put it together and then had to take it apart because of the numbers now it could’ve been user error on my end or the way they printed the pictures in the book, but it was not as easy as I assumed it might be and definitely took me a full day to get it done.
