The headboard features a panel of linen upholstery to soften the look, while the subtle cutout matches the footboard for cohesion. The look of the bed frame itself is great, and the color of the headboard fabric and the frame's wood, appeared true to the photos in the listing. The bed gets a slight hit due to the time and work to put it together. For a one person job it took about 4 hours to put together, and much of that comes from the need to drill all the holes for the slats, as you'll be drilling in to the bed frame itself, and you'll want to predrill those holes (and make sure you don't over drill as it's very possible to break through the bottom and expose the sharp bottom end of the screw. The tolerances around some of the screws and holes that are predrilled are also very tight, and getting the plastic washers on isn't the easiest. So make sure to have a power drill, appropriate drill bits, and a Phillips head bit, or else this bed could take you upwards of 5 to 6 hours to put together.. Richard. Jersey City, NJ. Tue Aug 11 2026

We bought this bed frame this past summer and I was reluctant to do so at first. My husband had been searching for options and we actually ended up buying the bed frame because the bed frame I wanted from a different retailer, but would take too long. It's actually been a decent frame for the price. It looks chic next to more elevated pieces and our only issue has been that one day the slats fell down and my husband had to build everything despite us having it "professionally assembled." I think they may have not done the best job. Honestly, I wish Wayfair would partner with Taskrabbit because Angie's list or whoever the builders have been from Jan-July 2025 have either been late, a little sloppy or both! We still get assembly always of course, but I would monitor the build and you will be fine!. Calyopi. The Midwest. Sun Sep 27 2026

Outstanding! Very heavy, and clearly well-made. Noticed the slats in the photo are secured to one another so they don’t move. Assembly is definitely a two person job.
