I would have loved to give this bed 5 stars, but for two reasons I could not. First, the legs are not even. I followed the directions to a T and there is definitely uneven legs. The queen-sized frame will have five (5) legs with the included center bar. The center bar for this frame is used side-to-side for queen bedding. This means this frame is not recommended for use with a split (2 pieces) box spring. The legs will adjust the frame height from 5 3/4" to 9 1/4" off the floor. The steel in this frame is a high strength, high carbon, hot-rolled steel. It is rolled using 97% recycled material producing a very strong and environmentally-friendly product. This frame utilizes a bolt-together assembly, which allows it to be adjusted to accommodate a wider variety of headboards and footboards. The frame simply bolts together through slots and holes in the rails with the provided hardware and tools at the correct width for the bedding being used. The brackets for the headboard and footboard can be quickly mounted to the frame using the provided tools and hardware. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has six (6) legs that utilize our uniquely designed glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. Guaranteeing the structural integrity of the part is perfectly consistent from one part to the next. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. The 2-inch wide center support on this frame is used head-to-toe on the king and full sizes. It can be used either head-to-toe or side-to-side on a queen size.
