We spray painted metal towers and covered shelves with white wood grain contact paper to lighten up this dark set. Quite easy to put together with two people with half stands propped on ottoman. Did put together top and bottom with holes facing wrong way and had to remove and flip one bottom tower so that joining screws found holes. Very wobbly and definitely anchored to wall on either side. For the price this is good quality and I may buy a second one. However some negatives: I used a drill to assemble, and it would probably take forever and a few blister with the provided tool. The hinges don’t have pre drilled holes - that would have made it a lot easier. And the biggest issue is there a 1/4 inch gap between the door top and the door so it will need extra water proofing (and this isn’t a one off manufacturing issue - the gap is in the directions picture.
