The good part: 1) Looks great 2) Lots of storage space 3) Can move shelves around to create bigger/smaller spaces The bad: 1) Assembly took forever. I don't understand why you need three screws for each hinge door and then three additional screws to attach to the side panel for EACH hinge. Two is the standard for a reason. 2) Don't understand why most of the screws are black, the door stoppers are brown, and the magnets and door screws are silver. The first desk took us about 5 hours, and even knowing exactly what we were doing, the second still took about 4 hours. I would absolutely recommend having two people, plenty of space, and a whole lot of patience. That being said, the instruction manual was surprisingly clear and helpful. There are simply a LOT of pieces and steps involved. Once assembled, though Worth it. They look like much more expensive pieces of furniture and completely transformed our homeschool room. I especially love all of the drawers, cabinets, shelving, and built-in desktop outlets. If you’re willing to survive the assembly process, I highly recommend them. OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. I wanted 6 shelves, and these were taller than the rest and matched the Wonston Porter drawers that I purchased days before, so I thought they would be the same. BUT THEY ARE METAL. We removed a stack washer/dryer from a space in our 1/2 bath. This cabinet fit perfect. Assembly was fairly easy, I did it myself, had to take a closer look at some instruction and thought “I hope I’m right”. All said and done I finished in a couple hours. Fits perfect, doesn’t feel extremely sturdy but we have it between a wall & another built-in. I think I would definitely secure it to the rear wall with the brackets supplied.
