The set is great so far. Color works well with our color scheme and the counter-height bench and chairs can also be used for seating at our kitchen counter. Our only complaint is with the provided assembly service. First, one of the delivery guys dropped a drawer when they turned over the table. Second, when they left they handed me a bag with extra washers. My husband realized later that they didnt use the washers on the bolts attaching the legs to the chairs so hes having to reattach the legs to the chairs They also stripped a few screws in their rush to assemble the set so it will be difficult to fix the washer issue. This set is not an heirloom piece by any means, but for the sale price and our particular needs (light use, able to sit 6+ people without a huge footprint), we are pleased. Arrived quickly (3 days) in two large boxes delivered together. Assembly was very straightforward. The quality isn’t superb and the materials will chip/dent easily, but the pros outweigh the cons for us, especially since this set will not be used daily. It’s hard to find an uncomplicated set that has clean lines, easy to pull out chairs for dusting, and vacuuming/mopping floors underneath, while still looking quite formal and elegant. This table set is an incredible value for the price. I just moved into a studio apartment and I wanted something counter height that could double as more prep space and a table, plus not take up too much space. The solid wood feels very sturdy, and the assembly was easy. The stools do wobble a little bit but they didn't before I screwed in the cross bars - I think they just need some adjustment or some self-leveling felt pads on the feet. If this were a more expensive set that would knock it down to 4 stars, but I'm factoring in value too - I'm willing to tinker a bit to save some money. These chairs are sturdy and Comfortable and putting them together wasn't too difficult. I did it by myself. The only thing that I would caution people about is that they are not a white-white as the picture shows. It's more of a cream colour. I took a picture of something that is white next to the chair to show the difference. Also, the seat is not quite the pleather material I thought it was, but I think it's still wipeable.
