I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The item arrived in a box that was clearly already opened before/damaged. The pieces of the bed frame were all still wrapped in plastic so that was promising. Then, I get to step 2 of assembly and realize that all four legs are defective. There's a built-in screw piece that prevents you from drilling the legs into the base of the bed. I attached an image so you can see what I mean. I hired a task rabbit to make sure I wasn't just misreading the directions, but confirmed - it's a faulty design. Then I took to the reviews section again and saw a HANDFUL of negative reviews stating how this bed frame comes with faulty parts, and for people lucky enough to actually assemble the full thing properly, it breaks within months. I paid $130.02 total for the full bed frame on sale. I paid an additional $35.39 for the FedEx shipping to return it. And the grand total refund for a faulty product? $94.63. Great. So I just paid $70.78 to lug a heavy a** box up the steps, unpack and realize it's defective, repack it, haul it downstairs. And Wayfair Support won't get back to me about the refund for the additional $70.78. Their chatbot says "our refund policies don't refund shipping costs" - but what about if the product itself is defective and a piece of sh**? Anyway. Don't order this bed frame lol, and make sure to always read the negative reviews too. I won't be ordering from Wayfair again. Wayfair Support: do more quality control and give people full refunds!.
