First of all it shipped quickly and with no issues. I put it together myself in probably 25 minutes. Assembly was a breeze, no issues at all. The material is not as dense as velvet to me it’s a really nice velour. Matches my night stands with the chest and my bed..all from wayfair even the sofa..the chest drawers are a bit narrow in the sense that it would be nice if they were deeper. I don't think measures are correct and if they are... trust me they are not deep enough....length is good though. I love this bed and everything about it. I have yet to use the under the bed storage by. It is a really nice bed with a wide and short head frame to where I can put more decor around or above. The only thing I did not care for was the assembly of the base frame. I started to put it together and then had to take it apart because of the numbers now it could’ve been user error on my end or the way they printed the pictures in the book, but it was not as easy as I assumed it might be and definitely took me a full day to get it done. Very nice! The only complaint we had was the adjusting part wasn’t logical and headboard would eventually drop since the adjuster area doesn’t lock it in place.
