The table is sturdy and looks very nice once assembled. The lift top mechanism feels a but clumsy and not very smooth when lifting or lowering (you really have to make sure to grab it on either edge or it’ll lift off one corner and not the other) but once fully extended it holds weight well. Both of our cats jumped on the extended table top (about 20 pounds all together) and it didn’t move. The inly other negative is the middle cubby’s left panel didn’t come with the holes to fit the shelf onto but the shelves are so small it was better to leave the middle one open space.
