We bought the griddle to go inside of the grill and I cook everything on it! We also bought the matching Pizza oven and it made my outdoor kitchen complete. Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out. Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen. I ordered this item and I love it! It was easier to assemble than I thought and it looks great. I love the 2 styles of side burner (sear burner and regular burner) and the grill looks amazing. I look forward to having a gathering and using all the features. The sink is nice, the storage and large castors are great aspects.
