This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky. Luckily, they are not really noticeable from a distance, and bedding will help hide the extra holes.. Wendy. White Bear Lake, MN. Mon Jun 02 2025

With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. A removable canopy frame and a low-post option for the footboard provide an array of personalized options. Experience a distinctive design that offers a sense of a well-traveled life.

These are old pictures so don’t mind the mess, but I love that the bed looks black from afar but up close you can see the weathered espresso brown. Beware of the height though! I had to leave one of the top posts off in order to be able to still use the ceiling fan. I don’t mind that though. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026
