Soft Side Waterbed Frame

A waterbed is a unique and comfortable option for those seeking a personalized sleeping experience. And if you're looking for a waterbed that provides a wave-less sleep surface, you might want to consider the 95% waveless waterbed with five layers of wave reducing fiber. This waterbed features five layers of wave reducing fiber, which work together to provide a wave-less sleep surface. The fluid support system in a waterbed is what makes it so unique and comfortable, but waves can sometimes disrupt the sleeping experience. The five layers of wave reducing fiber help to minimize the formation of waves, allowing you to sleep peacefully and uninterrupted. In addition to its wave-less design, this waterbed is also customizable, with temperature-controlled bladders that allow you to regulate the temperature of your sleep surface. This feature can help to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment, regardless of the time of year or the climate in your area. Another benefit of this waterbed is its reduced pressure points. Unlike a traditional mattress, which can put pressure on your joints and muscles, the fluid support system in a waterbed evenly distributes your weight, reducing pressure points and promoting a more restful night's sleep. When it comes to durability, this waterbed is built to last. Its construction is designed for long-lasting comfort and fluid support, so you can enjoy a comfortable sleep surface for years to come. The 95% waveless waterbed with five layers of wave reducing fiber is a great investment in your sleep comfort.

Polymer Band gives when you sit on it but resists lateral pressure from waterbed mattress. No cover required so you can experience the true comfort of the waterbed. Uses waterbed sheets and bedding. Strobel Complete Sof-Frame includes Strobel’s Hydro-Support 1800 waveless waterbed mattress. Strobel waterbeds are naturally fire-resistant and do not require flame retardant chemical-based flame barriers like other mattresses to comply with federal fire safety regulations. The bodies are over 90% water. Strobel waterbeds achieve nearly 0-Gravity. This results in less pressure on your body. Strobel water mattresses go a step further with their unique deep molded "Feathertop" pressure reduction surface. The "Feathertop" surface relives surface tension and further reduces pressures to allow for true flotation sleep, so your body and muscles can truly relax. Strobel Hydro-Support water-mattresses also feature reinforced corners, a 4-way tethered waveless system to prevent shifting, bottom seams to relieve pressure on seams, thermally efficient heater compatible bottoms, and added lumbar support for better back support.

On 1-12-2026 my 13 yr old Boyd Flotation Regency 4 waterbed mattress sprung a leak, forcing me to take immediate action. After extensive (accelerated) research I purchased the Innomax Genesis 800 Ultra Waveless Lumbar Support Waterbed Mattress (Queen) - double the price I paid in late 2012. I received the new Innomax mattress on 1-16-2026. It took 2-3 hrs. to completely fill a queen size mattress and approx. 36 hrs. to heat up to the desired temperature. It’s much too soon to confirm the quality durability. This is a firmer waterbed mattress than what I’ve slept on for the past 40 yrs, but it is quite comfortable. There are 2 spouts at the foot of the bed - 1 to fill another to ‘burp’. As a height challenged person, I don’t feel these spouts when I’m in bed - though this could be an issue for taller people (a quilted mattress pad may help). While the vinyl does have a distinct, noticeable smell, it has diminished each week. Since my bedroom door is always closed, the smell is contained and hasn’t affected any other areas in the house. UPDATE - The new vinyl smell completely vanished within 3-4 weeks. My reasoning for less than 5 stars is due to the lousy tiered warranty compared to other waterbed mattress manufacturers. Anyone who’s owned a waterbed since the 1980’s will be disappointed to discover that supplies and parts are quite limited, making it a sellers market. This means you can expect to pay at least double the price from a decade ago if you don’t want to convert to a traditional mattress (which is considerably more expensive). My advice is to thoroughly research explore all available options (including local online markets) before you buy any waterbed supplies and replacement components.. Bonnie. Plymouth, MI. Saw a similar frame to this one at a different site but they had gone out of business. Found this one on Wayfair and really like this frame. The instructions were somewhat confusing and the tool wrench supplied could have been a little longer as it was difficult to access screws to tighten. Once the top panels were installed it was difficult to make sure the panel screws were tightened correctly. Complete foam padded wood frame waterbed. Comes with frame and your choice water-mattress, solid state heater with controller, safety liner, wood deck, fill and drain kit with conditioner, and pedestal. You can also use a full drape bedspread to cover waterbed frame if you choose. Bed is all wood wrapped in thick foam, and covered in your choice of quality upholstery material. In addition to a great look the foam cushions the rail to ease getting in and out of bed and sitting on the edge. This eliminates the need for separate rail caps. Strobel Hydro Support Waterbeds feature our Feathertop deep moulded surface. While most waterbeds do not have a moulded surface ours is deeper moulded than any other on the market, this creates more surface area of vinyl and gives better true water support. The stretched tight surface of other waterbeds and softsides can give a hammock or trampoline effect which supports you and not the true conforming water. The Feathertop gives the lowest skin pressures and no pressure points for greatest comfort and best sleep. Hand Crafted in USA

Love sleeping in this mattress . Anonymous. Mon Apr 26 2021

Cons: I bought this waterbed. It said it was complete waterbed. It's not. I had to purchase the box springs separate. I was expecting a pillow top on it. All it had was a slippered cloth top. So your body laying on the waterbed mattress. Also the description says it has duel heaters. Mine only came with one. Called Wayfair and they put in an order for the other one. It's been almost a month and I still don't have it. Pros: There's nothing like sleeping on a waterbed! I love this mattress! The heater I did get works great. It's has thick cushioned sides instead of hard boards like the old time waterbeds. I don't know if I'd buy again or not.. Kimberly. Centerville, KS. Thu Jan 21 2016

The bed is great. Exactly what I wanted. The order was delivered in two part about 3 days apart with the bedrails coming after the bed itself. There was no indication on the box that the first box was not the total order so we spent quite a bit of time trying to set it up without the necessary side rails. It was just a breakdown in communication that was easily solved.. Lesley. Young Harris, GA. Wed Aug 06 2025
