It turns out that the legs and hardware and an Allen key for each chair were concealed in a zippered compartment under the seat. This took a long time; Wayfair should've known the solution to the problem when I first contacted customer service. Love these chairs but may not be for everyone. Craftsmanship is great!! Very sturdy, and feels like a high quality piece of furniture. The only downside is they are not made for just anyone.
