Used this tension rod to hang a fairly hefty curtain outside to hide the grill and other misc stuff. It’s been months and it’s still there and we’ve had some strong winds come through. You do need to add pieces to the rod to get the full size, then the last piece has the tension part. For the price it works. I do own more expensive rods for large areas that are one solid piece. I think it's great. I wish it came with more shelves and hanging rods to give you more configuration options, but aside from that no complaints. The gold is more of a tan gold than the other system I have, which is fine, but its not gold gold if that's what you are looking for. I might not have said that if my other system I have from someone else wasn't more gold gold. It was easy to put together and I was able to combine it with my other system I had installed previously to get just what I wanted in our walk in closet. I would get more if I needed them. It's a great system.. Suria. Castro Valley, CA. Thu Oct 01 2026

I miss measured on this and ordered one that was too big for my space. However, my daughter and I were able to take it apart and create a part that was two sections instead of three and create it very similar but add an extra shelf to both sections on the bottom. It worked out amazing to be able to customize it. Yes I would have loved to have more hanging room, but this worked great. It was super easy to put together (my 14 year old did it on her own the first time). and looks and works amazing!. Amber. Vestaburg, MI. Tue Sep 01 2026
